Phenikaa University has taken an important step in strengthening its medical training and research capabilities by signing a collaboration agreement with the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases. The partnership aims to enhance mutual understanding and foster long-term cooperation in training, scientific research, knowledge transfer, and clinical practice.
The ceremony was attended by senior leaders from both institutions. Representing Phenikaa University were Professor Dr. Lưu Ngọc Hoạt, Vice Rector and Head of the Faculty of Biomedical Science; Associate Professor Dr. Vũ Hồng Thăng, Vice Rector; and Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Hội, CEO of the Phenikaa University Hospital Project and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. From the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Director Dr. Phạm Ngọc Thạch, Deputy Director Dr. Nguyễn Trung Cấp, and department representatives were present.
In his remarks, Professor Dr. Hoạt highlighted the significance of this partnership for the advancement of medical education and the broader healthcare sector in Vietnam. He expressed confidence that the collaboration would help Phenikaa students gain a stronger combination of theory and real-world clinical experience. Dr. Phạm Ngọc Thạch praised Phenikaa University’s rapid development in health sciences and expressed hope for continued expansion of partnerships and shared expertise.
Following productive discussions, both institutions officially signed the cooperation agreement. Key collaborative areas include professional exchange, joint research initiatives, training of medical personnel, and the application of modern technology in healthcare. Delegates also discussed specific activities to be implemented in the near future.
After the ceremony, the hospital’s leadership toured Phenikaa University’s modern laboratories and clinical practice facilities, gaining insight into its advanced teaching and research environment.
